CAN WE GIVE YOU A LIST OF OUR FAVORITE SONGS?


Absolutely! Each client receives their own website log-in where you can create a customize the LOVE IT, LIKE IT and HATE IT playlist. You can even invite your guests to submit requests on your wedding website if desired.




DO WE GET TO MEET WITH YOU?


Absolutely! Our fees include at least 2 virtual consultations with your DJ. This helps ensure that your event will run smoothly.




DOES HURRICANE RPODUCTIONS USE CONTRACTS?


Yes. Our contracts protects your investment and protects Hurricane Productions at the same time. Accepting a Quote is not a legal Bind & you are not obligated to proceed with booking Hurricane Productions. However, a signed contract is a legal bind between the client(s) & Hurricane Productions, LLC. All client(s) will be held to the highest standard upon digital signature capture. If a client wishes to cancel after a contract is signed, he/she will be responsible for all cancellation fees & fines as stated in the agreement.




DO YOU TRAVEL?


Yes. All bookings include up to 100 miles of travel (roundtrip).
Each mile thereafter is billed at the rate stated in the signed contract.




ARE YOU FULLY INSURED?


2 Million % Yes! (in other words, Hurricane Productions is fully insured and carries a $2,000,000 liability policy at every event.) Some venues require the DJ companies to add them as additional insured. This can be done for an additional cost. Please inquire with us for rates on adding the venue to our current policy.




DO YOU HAVE BACKUP EQUIPMENT?


Yes. Hurricane Productions travels with backup for every major piece of equipment. This insures there is never an interruption at your celebration. ​




WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?


A retainer payment, which is part of your overall fee, is due with your signed contract. The remaining balance is due 14 days before your wedding. Payments can be made via ACH (electronic check) or credit/debit card. Cash & paper checks are not accepted. If you wish to pay with a check, please use the ACH feature on your invoice provided by Hurricane Productions.




HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK YOU?


As an in-demand independent DJ company, Hurricane Productions is booked for weddings & events 12-24 months in advance. If we are already booked on your date, our staff will help you find another premier DJ option. Click here to inquire for your date.




HOW MUCH SHOULD WE BUDGET FOR OUR DJ?


You should designate between 15% - 20% of your overall budget for entertainment at your reception. Fact is, most couples spend more on appetizers than their entrainment! No one remembers a cheese and veggie tray but the DJ you choose WILL MAKE OR BREAK your celebration.




WHAT IS YOUR PRICING?


Wedding pricing starts at $1495 depending on day of the week, total hours, location and desired services/ enhancements such as uplighting and photo booth. Hurricane Productions believes in upfront pricing; you will receive a quote upon contacting us with the requested details.

DO YOU OFFER A PHOTO BOOTH?


YES! We offer a classy photo booth experience to all of our clients.




HOW MUCH EXPERIENCE WILL MY DJ HAVE?


All of our DJ's have a minimum of 200 events performed. That translates to years and years … and years of experience!




WE HAVE SPECIFIC SONGS. CAN WE BRING OUR OWN MUSIC?


Hurricane Productions follows "the book" (laws & regulations) when it comes to music downloads & playback.
Music selections must be made through the online event planning system; outside documents (Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, handwritten lists) will not be accepted and will be voided immediately on DJ’s behalf.
With or without the aid of an event/music planner or music request list, Hurricane Productions shall attempt to play Purchaser's and Purchaser's guests' music requests but shall not be held responsible if certain selections are unavailable. If Hurricane Productions needs to purchase special requests, songs must be available for purchase through Promo Only, Inc (our legal music provider).
Websites such as Spotify, YouTube, Amazon, iTunes, and Soundcloud are NOT acceptable forms for LEGAL music playback. Downloading from such locations is a federal crime.
"Aux cables" are not accessible to any guests, vendors, or clients. A Guests electronic device will not be permitted connection to Hurricane Productions equipment.
For music selections, Purchaser agrees that Hurricane Productions liability is limited to twenty (5) purchased songs. All music played at the event is obtained by a DJ only music service such as Promo Only and such account shall be licensed to Hurricane Productions, LLC to play the content/ song at your event.

WHAT IF I NEED MUSIC PLAYED FOR COCKTAILS HELD IN A SEPARATE AREA? CAN YOU DO THAT?

WILL YOU MAKE ANNOUNCEMENTS?


Yes. Each booking with Hurricane Productions includes our professional emcee skills & DJ services. A member of our team will coordinate with you before making the announcements for your formalities. Additionally, we’ll coordinate with the Banquet Staff, Professional Photographer & Professional Videographer & any other vendors at the reception to ensure that they’re informed.
